Managing players
Updated 5 months ago
Once you've created and shared your tournament, it's time to handle the players who want to join.
Navigate to the "PLAYERS" tab on your tournament page to view everyone interested. For each player, you can take various actions:
• Add to Waiting List
If your tournament is full, use this option to maintain a list of interested players who can join if spots become available.
• Confirm Payment Status
Verify whether the player has completed the necessary payments for tournament entry. This helps ensure a smooth registration process.
• Check Player's Army List
Review the submitted army list to ensure it complies with tournament rules and guidelines.
• Approve Player's Army List
After reviewing the player's army list, use this option to officially approve it, indicating that it meets all requirements.
• Mark Player as Battle-Ready
Use this action to signify that the player is prepared for the upcoming battles and has completed all necessary preparations.
• Designate as Substitute (Ringer)
Use this option to mark a player as a substitute or "Ringer." These players are ready to step in if someone else can't participate. This can be particularly helpful for ensuring smooth tournament gameplay in case of unexpected changes.
• Check-in Player
Use this option to check in players before the tournament begins. This is especially important to ensure that all registered players are present and ready for the tournament's start. Checking in helps organize the process and avoids potential delays.
• Drop Player
Use this option if a player needs to withdraw from the tournament. Dropping a player removes them from the active participant list, allowing you to manage the tournament more accurately. It's essential for keeping track of changes and maintaining an updated roster throughout the event.
